Short answer: PlayStation Plus members can claim F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 from 6 October until 2 November 2026. All three are included with Essential, Extra and Deluxe.
The three games
- F1 25 (PS5): Codemasters’ official Formula 1 game. If you’ve ever wanted to try a full season, this is a good excuse. Turn on the driving assists and it’s friendlier than it looks.
- Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5): Crytek’s tense PvP bounty hunting shooter set in the American frontier. Teams track monsters, then fight each other for the reward. It’s tough to learn but very rewarding with a regular squad.
- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5, PS4): a cheerful, blocky take on the EDF series, where you shoot giant bugs with a big cast of characters. Best with friends.
Sony announced the line-up on the PlayStation Blog on 30 September. As always, the line-up can vary slightly by region, so check the PlayStation Store on your console.
Don’t forget to claim them
Monthly games are only free to add during their window. Add them to your library before 2 November, even if you don’t plan to play right away. They stay yours to play for as long as you’re a PS Plus member.
