This policy explains what information GameJila collects when you use the site, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We’ve kept it short and plain on purpose.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply.
• Basic server logs. Like almost every website, our server records technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use these to keep the site secure and working.
• Clicks on store links. When you click a Buy button, we count the click against that game. We don’t link it to your identity.

What stays on your device

Games you save and price alerts you set are stored in your own browser. They are not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Cookies, ads and analytics

If we run analytics or advertising, those services may set cookies to measure visits and show relevant ads. Where the law requires it, we’ll ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

Other websites

When you click through to a store, that store’s own privacy policy applies. We don’t control what they collect.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and respond to requests within a reasonable time.

Children

GameJila is a general audience site. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through our contact form.
