About Grand Theft Auto VI

Grand Theft Auto VI takes the series back to Vice City, Rockstar’s take on Miami, and the wider state of Leonida around it. It’s the first new Grand Theft Auto in more than twelve years, and it’s built only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which is why it skips last-generation consoles entirely.

The story follows Lucia and her partner Jason, two criminals pulled into something much bigger than the small-time jobs they started with. Rockstar calls it a single-player experience, and GTA Online is expected to follow later.

In India, the Standard Edition costs ₹5,999 and the Ultimate Edition ₹7,499 on both the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store, and the game comes out on 19 November 2026. Buy by launch day and you get the Vintage Vice City Pack, with a classic car and garage, ’80s outfits and a weapon skin. Digital pre-orders can pre-load from 12 November.
