Short answer: the PlayStation Store’s biggest sales in India are Days of Play (late May to mid-June), Black Friday (from around 21 November) and the holiday sale (late December into early January). PS Plus memberships are usually cheapest during Days of Play and Black Friday.

What happened in the last cycle
- Days of Play 2026 ran from 27 May to 10 June 2026, with up to 33% off 12-month PS Plus.
- Black Friday 2025 started on 21 November 2025. The PlayStation Store had up to 75% off PS4 and PS5 games, and in India the offers on consoles and games at shops ran until 4 December.
- The 2025 holiday sale in India ran from 23 December 2025 to 5 January 2026 at Amazon, Flipkart, Croma and Sony Centres.
Sony hasn’t announced Black Friday 2026 yet. If it follows last year, expect it to start around 21 November, right after GTA 6 comes out on 19 November. Don’t expect GTA 6 itself to be discounted that early.
Right now (October 2026)
As of 20 October, the PlayStation Store is running its Autumn Adventures and Indies sales, both with up to 75% off. Our deals page lists the games with real price drops in India, checked every day.
How to buy at the right time
- Save the games you want on GameJila and set a price alert. We email you once when the price you chose shows up.
- If your PS Plus runs out in October or November, wait for Black Friday before you renew.
- Watch the Indian price, not the US headline. A “60% off” sale in the US doesn’t always mean the same discount on the Indian store.
- If you pay with a gift card, top up your wallet before the sale starts. Codes sometimes sell out during big sales.
