Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Miles Morales picks up a year after Marvel’s Spider-Man. With Peter Parker away, Miles becomes New York’s only Spider-Man just as a war between an energy company and a high-tech criminal group threatens his new home in Harlem.

It plays a lot like the first game, which is a good thing. Swinging through the city still feels incredible, and combat still flows between punches, web moves and gadgets. Miles adds his own tricks: bioelectric venom attacks that hit hard and spread through groups, and a camouflage power that turns stealth sections into a playground.

The story is personal and warm, focused on Miles’s family and friends more than world-ending stakes. The winter setting gives the familiar Manhattan map a fresh look.

The main story takes around 8 hours, or roughly double that if you clear the side activities. It’s shorter than a full sequel, and priced and paced to match.
