Great if you have friends to play with on the sofa. Solo players may want to wait for a discount or for it to reach PS Plus Extra, since PlayStation's own games often arrive there within two years.
About Until Dawn 2
Until Dawn 2 is the sequel to the 2015 horror hit where every choice you make decides who lives and who dies. This time you follow the Dead True ghost-hunting crew to Akishima Island in Japan, and as before, any of them can die before sunrise.
The first game was a favourite for playing with friends on the sofa, passing the controller around and arguing over every decision. Expect the same here, with branching scenes, quick reactions under pressure and plenty of jump scares.
It’s a PS5 exclusive, out on 28 January 2027, made by Firesprite and published by Sony. We add PlayStation Store India prices as soon as pre-orders open and we’ve checked them. PlayStation’s own games are usually ₹4,999 at launch in India, and they’re often in PS Plus Extra within a couple of years, so a price alert is worth setting if you’re patient.
